Our Challenge

PureChem has many locations, but the one we worked on had an east-facing rooftop. Mounted flush to the roof surface, solar panels would miss out on a few hours of daylight, which would restrict their productivity. South-facing rooftops tend to get the best rates of solar energy capture, so we worked to find a way to adapt and maximize PureChem’s return on investment.
Our Solution
We installed a tilted racking system to face the panels southwards.
We wanted the sun’s rays to hit the solar panels perpendicularly, and capture the most energy possible. The tilted racking system—installed on PureChem’s east-facing roof using aluminum clamps—raises each panel on an angle of 15°. This raises the annual energy generation by +20% over a comparable flush system.
When it comes to maximizing solar energy output, Inferno Solar doesn’t let something like building orientation stop us.
