I hear a lot of frustration from business owners who look at their energy bills and realize that only a third of the cost is the energy they actually use. The other two-thirds come from transmission, distribution, and delivery tariffs — charges they have almost no control over.
Across Alberta, both businesses and homeowners are looking for more control over their energy costs, aiming to be more self-sufficient and independent. Energy storage will play a major role in helping them get there.
